Our new 2018 cougar has one of the new friction hinge doors and its difficult to open and close. Rv exterior door touch up paint. I see no adjustments on the hinge and oiling the hinge does nothing to ease it up. The spacer thickness depends on how much you need to get the door to move.

Is there a way to adjust the tension on the main door friction hinges. You could drill out the rivets on one of the hinges add a thin spacer behind the hinge then re rivet it. Keystone calls it a feature but i m no so sure. This helped a little more but did not solve the problem completely.
